Education, Credentials & Honors
Dr. Parker received his pre-doctoral training at the University of Utah. He went on to attend the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry where he graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery with honors. Dr. Parker then attended St. Louis University, completing specialized training in orthodontics and earning a master’s degree in Orthodontic Dental Research. In addition to his professional training Dr. Parker completed a 2 year course to perfect his skills in orthodontics by collaborating with orthodontics leaders, scientific leaders in orthodontics, growth and development during orthodontics, advanced training in surgical and biological principles of orthodontics.(2015-2018 McLaughlin Course, San Diego, CA)
Dr. Parker is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. Professionally, he has distinguished himself by becoming one of the first orthodontists in the state of Utah to use Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) to maximize the effectiveness of orthodontic treatment.
